I usually view the courses via the website, but I’ve tried on two occasions now to download and use the iPhone app to access courses and have had the following issue: video playback has been abysmal (Im more than willing to concede poor internet connection on my end is likely) but the controls also disappear when going into full screen and rotating my phone. The one star review boils down to this: all content on this platform is video and the app can’t seem to handle that on mobile devices. If you could fix that, it would be perfect!

I have great difficulty streaming videos from Skillshare. I have not had the same sort of issues with other video streaming apps I use, or I would think it was just my service. I can’t get through more than 20-40 seconds at a time without having to break for buffering and about 15 to 20 seconds in video either freezes or cuts out completely and I’m left with audio only. Frustrating.

Hello developers, Thank you for updating the apps! However I run into so many things that need improvement: -I can’t reply to another students comment in discussion. -keeps crashing when I open discussion. -I can’t no longer add a favorite video to a playlist. Thanks!

I like Skillshare a lot and there is a large selection of courses. I have one complaint with the app and that is the keyboard keeps going away when I’m typing. That is frustrating, but overall very good.
  • Good Material! Bad search engine!

It is so hard to find and organize your searches and classes. For example, I was listening to a Lessing with multiple parts. The host listed those parts and finished the series. I can’t find the last one, even when searching for his name. The browser version might be better; but the mobile app is more convenient to watch.

Skillshare, nobody likes reporting an issue to your CS team to only get a canned response bringing up anything but what was initially sent to you. Get it together.

My wife and I both signed up for this app to try it for $14.99. We selected this option upon downloading it. After we downloaded it it charged us $99.99 for a year subscription and iTunes or Skillshare will not respond to give a refund. SCAM
