Calendars is the most elegant and easy to use calendar application available on the App Store. It works perfectly with Google Calendar and built-in iOS Calendar. Calendars allows you to manage events both online and offline. Thanks to the unique interface you can move events simply with Drag & Drop, navigate quickly between dates, change event time and reminders rapidly with custom keyboards. Calendars supports everything you can find in Google Calendar: appointments, reminders and more. Sync is really fast and your information is always up to date. What makes Calendars great: ◆ Interface focused on events Elegant and easy to use interface makes it super simple to get a quick overview of the upcoming events and tasks. You always keep your focus on what's important; there is nothing to distract you. ◆ Day, Week, Month and List views of your events. Calendars illustrates your Day, Week and Month on a small iPhone screen the best possible way. Depending on the situation, select the view that conveniently unveils your schedule. ◆ First-class iPad calendar It's one of the best apps for the iPad. The iPad large screen is great for managing your daily schedule and enables richer interaction with your calendar. ◆ The fastest Sync Sync with Google Calendar works really fast and keeps your schedule thoroughly. What else Calendars lets you do: - Drag & Drop your events - You can move and change the duration of your events in a Day, Week or Month view with Drag & Drop. Just tap and hold on the event to activate it. - Manage your events online and offline - You can create, edit and delete events at any time. All changes will be synced back to your account once you are online. - Special Keyboards - Appointment time and reminders can be defined twice faster than in the built-in iOS calendar, all thanks to custom keyboards. - Search - You can search for events by name in the List view. Tapping on the status bar will show you a search field. • Love the color option.

Has everything I need to keep track of both personal and work appointments and tasks. Being able to color code tasks is especially helpful to alert and find groups of tasks.
  • Works and syncs better than Apple calendar

I find it works and synchronizes better than the calendar provided with the iPhone and iPad
  • Good, but not perfect

I’m a big fan of Readdle apps, and their customer service is excellent. So when I started looking into iPhone calendar apps, I tested their free Calendars with the intention of purchasing the full version 5 down the line. There is much to like about the free version. It’s an universal app, no separate iPhone and iPad versions to buy. Its day, week and month views are much better than those of the Apple IOS and Fantastical apps. Creating events is generally easier than with Fantastical. Its widget is also quite good. On the downside, I can’t modify or move events that were imported into Calendars from another program. Both the stock Apple calendar and Fantastical can do this with no problem. I also can’t easily go to a specific date (e.g., December 3, 2012), again something the stock iOS calendar and Fantastical can easily do. At this point, the jury is out. I’m going to hold off on buying the full Calendars 5 version until I see if some of these things get fixed.

The app suddenly stopped allowing me to add different colours. I contacted company and they did not reply. I will delete this app when I find a replacement calendar:(
  • Easy!

    By KathiJoH
It would be nice if there was a search feature in this application like there are with other ones. But other than that it works great and it’s simple and easy.
  • Easy to work with

I really love this calendar. Easy to get use to and navigate! I finally found something that is sustainable.
  • Update made it really inconvenient

    By Problemproblem 38473
Was a great app before this last update - now quick adding an event sets a time by default which requires extra clicks to set as “all day” whereas before the default was to add objects as “all day.”
  • Alternative calendar

It’s a good program, but to enter an appointment, you have to do it backwards.
