Unable to add or remove medication
  • Superb

Great, simple, easy to use reminder. I used this to keep track of the 4 medications I take and it has totally kept me on track. I had issues taking some of my medicines and getting better and then forgetting to take them or thinking I did not need them anymore. This app gives you simple, nice reminders to take your medicine at the times you put. It also allows you to add a friend/family member who gets a notice if you haven’t taken a med or haven’t marked it off. This helps as well as I can have someone keeping me on track and texting or calling me and reminding me what happens when I do not take certain medication. Overall this app is 5 stars... simple, clean, easy, and keeps me on track with my meds. Fantastic app, I don’t remember the price for the full version but it is well worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY! Absolutely fantastic! 10 stars!
  • Great, but room for improvement

I downloaded this app to manage my meds post-surgery. It has proven helpful, but there is no option for “every x hours”. I’m managing pain meds and need to automatically adjust reminders as I increase time between doses and vary dose (1-2 as needed) in order to accurately track intake.
  • Good, but not great

I know I wrote a review before, but somehow it was deleted? The overall function is there. Good interface. But is only really usable for either an individual or single parent. This is because there is no sync and management/permission options so that either parent can administer child medications and check it off then have it sync to the other parent so that double dosing doesn’t occur, which can be very dangerous if not fatal. The whole “medifriend” thing needs to be completely rethought out. One way would be to allow the user to set individual access options for additional caregivers/parents. The whole “one account” is far from secure nor practical, the whole concept is against best practices. Also, parents may not want to share their meds, just their children’s meds for mutual management.

Barely had the app for a day and it did not remind me to take my medication. But I’ll stick with it and be hopeful it works next time.
  • Amazing! One request

This app is SO great!! Is there any way we could set the reminders to continue to repeat every so often until we’ve marked the medicine as taken?
  • So many notifications!!

    By Jmarie423
I have memory problems this the reason I need an app to track my meds. This app is constantly sending me notifications at the end of the day asking me if I took all of my medication today or did I mark all my doses as taken. My doses are all marked as taken and it makes me constantly second guess my self. Wish there was a way to turn these notifications off but so far no luck.
  • Ten Star App—Essential as Caregiver

I am caring for my husband at home during his terminal illness. Now that he has medications around the clock, including IV medications, this app is a lifesaver for me. I was writing everything out on paper before using the app, and I was making mistakes in the night. Now everything is right in front of me on my phone—self-lit for night use, and always in my pocket during the day. Thoughts for improvements—(1) an iPad version (please). I am starting to get some nursing help a few days a week, and I want them to be able to use and enter data in the app, but I’m not giving them my phone. (In fact, I would like to be the “medfriend” so that I get woken if they don’t administer his medications.) I could leave his iPad open and running the app by the bed at all times for all caregivers to share. Can’t do that with my phone, and can’t have the user logged in on multiple devices (which I understand). And while my husband is very ill, he’s not ready to give his phone over either. (2) Enable sharing of medication list that includes the dosing instructions. Several of his medications are multiple pills at a time, and the list I can share doesn’t show that—so for a drug which he takes 20mg but comes in 10mg pills, your shared list shows 10mg three times a day rather than 20mg even though I’ve entered the instructions to take two three times a day. Once created, I am able to edit the list in the outgoing email before sending, but that is tedious and could easily result in mistakes for a patient taking a large number of medications. I think my situation may be less unusual than you might imagine, particularly in the “new normal” of COVID19—if I put him in the hospital or even in a care facility, then I cannot see him any more. So I think you will see many more families looking for help with their home care of loved ones. Maybe a “pro” version? Overall a fantastic app for which I am grateful.

This could be a wonderful app if the medtones would work with iPhone 11. Only the pill shaker medtone works.

No option to add every x hours and it auto fills. You have to enter in every single dose time manually
