I recently switched it to do it. From two to do. Yes I know I left the dark ages for an amazing product in every way. I could write an essay on all of what is great about this app. It’s just so well thought out and designed. Here are the highlights: Interface is incredible. I can actually see, on my phone, at a glance, all my active projects. Being able to nest projects inside of projects and tasks inside of tasks gives ultimate flexibility. As do the filters. Anything you want to, well filter, on a regular basis, you can. For example I have a filter to make sure I don’t accidentally put something in my inbox without a due date. And I have one to replace the hotlist on toodledo. I also use Spark and seamless integration between the two is wonderful. No more searching for emails that I need to refer to. I simply add them to Todoist. I have begun using it the way I used to use Google Inbox to bundle all the emails related to a trip. I am sure I am leaving out other wonderful things I love. I have 200 apps on my phone and far and away, this is my favorite. I manage both my business and personal life with it.
  • Good, but a couple of issues they never fix.

Love the app, but I’ve been contacting support from the beginning complaining about the notification bubbles not updating until you open the app, and they keep blaming Apple, even though plenty of other apps, even small apps, do it without a problem. That combined with some missed push notifications, seriously get on my nerves when paying from a Premium service.
  • Apartment Renovation Management

This app kept everything organized and most importantly findable and trackable. Handled every category of the renovation with separate project folders for lighting plumbing doors stone etc. everything could get tracked including to do, in process, completed, waiting for response, phone call, or site meeting tags. I could make as many folders and subfolders as I wanted and create any tags needed. Also easy to change the due date or have no due date.

I love Todoist. It’s the home for everything I need to remember. I put anything that has a specific timing on my real calendar. Everything else, including any work I have to do to prep for the appointments on my calendar, goes into Todoist. That way, I know I’ll see it and don’t have to work to remember.

I think the key features that work for me are the gmail, chrome and SMS connects. I can grab and communication and track my projects. Then they alerts keep me on task. No pun intended.

I have been trying to find a digital method of maintaining a daily, weekly and monthly (even yearly) way to successfully execute tasks and track my progress. And I have to say this is the app that I have been looking for! It’s easy to navigate and use and the fact that it works on all my devices and syncs the creation and completion of the tasks is one of the things that helps make it a must have app! I have been using it for a few weeks and find myself appreciating the native features that makes entering tasks a breeze. If you are at all hesitate, don’t be!
  • Changed my life

Seriously. There is my life before Todoist, in which I wrote things down in a scribbled list on my hand, tried to juggle deadlines in my head, and never had any sense of how much or little I had accomplished. And then there is my life after Todoist. For someone whose work is self-directed, structure is freedom. I recommend it unreservedly.
