  • Absolutely Useless!!

    By Car done
App acts like I am a new subscriber every time I open it. Then when I sign in it tells me I am already a subscriber but the app will not open. I can uninstall then reinstall and it will work one time. Also you can only have one parent registered and it will not allow more than one phone to sign in at a time. Don’t waste your time with this one!
  • Terrible app.

    By DreamBig19(me)
GPS is completely wrong. It had my daughter in the inner city, and I grounded her. Then it happened again in a different location but I was with her so I know it was wrong. Can’t block numbers anymore with the no app. The app stops working after a few weeks and you have to re-pair the devices. It’s just horrible. At&t you should NEVER of decommissioned the old app before testing out and debugging the new app. Horrible engineering process (and I’m a computer engineer so I know a few things about releases). I’ve given this app months to update, nothing.
  • Worst thing AT&T ever developed

Bring back smart limits. This app while less expensive isn’t worth even $.02. Its features are very limited and easily bypassed
  • New and improved is anything but

    By pikeeta
I had the original AT&T family mapping and was happy with it. Then received the news that it was changing and improving and would cost $2 less. I would rather the pay the $2 extra and go back to the original that actually worked. This mapping is terrible and inaccurate and the system is usually confused. It has history under my child that he was located somewhere “today” at 2:40 pm but it’s only 9:40 am. Aside from those inaccuracies the actual locations are also inaccurate or non functional. Like I said, the original worked so much better!
  • Doesn’t work, waste of money

I used to have the Smart limits app with AT&T and it was great! This app replaced Smart limits and it is garbage.
  • Not accurate at all

    By FiveFootNine
Needed this for child to track whereabouts of a very deceptive child. When I used it without them having the app on their phone, it was not very accurate & kept saying it would be more accurate if we linked their phone, which meant they would download the app. It didn’t change a thing! It is occasionally accurate within a half mile and at times within a couple of miles? Not always helpful! It is not very accurate & isn't worth the cost in my opinion. Seems it wouldn’t be too hard to develop an accurate tracker!
  • Blocks all internet, not just cellular

    By Storytimer
I’m disappointed that there is not a way to just block cellular. Before, I could block cellular without blocking Wi-fi, and make it so my kids could still call or text ME, or designated numbers. Or to help make sure they are connected to Wi-fi. Now it blocks all internet. Please fix this!!

Simply put.... the new app is unbearable
  • Very Disappointed!!

    By KellyD1228
I was excited to hear at&t was going to improve the Smart Limits App because that App actually gave me control over my child’s phone. I was hoping for even more features with this App, but it turns out this is a piece of junk! DEFINITELY NOT WORTH PAYING FOR! Most parents who need an App like this have very smart kids who know how to disable it. I was considering switching providers just before this new App came out, but stayed with at&t simply because it was the only carrier that had something that would allow me to control my child’s internet/phone access. What a waste! I’m canceling my subscription. Please fix this worthless piece of crap or reactivate Smart Limits!!!
  • If I could give no stars...

    By martypierce4715
AT&T used to have an app called smart limits which worked with all phones. They have done away with that service and replaced it with this one. While it sounds nice on the surface it only works if your child’s phone is a smartphone. My child has a flip phone because I don’t want him on social media or the internet. I used to be able to give permission for numbers to call/text him and he them but now it’s open to whoever. I used to be able to set limits to when his phone can be used. No more. Unless he has a smartphone. Parents you should know that you can get a smartphone and disable data from AT&T but if your child is able to get on Wi-Fi somewhere they can do whatever they want. AT&T has made it impossible for me to be able monitor my child’s phone habits without him having a smartphone. Bring back smart limits! This app is worthless!
