So yes I use the app and like it. I had to take a star away because they removed the Twitter auto-post feature. Please bring it back BikerMonkey

I’ve been using this app for about 5 years and overall has worked well. There are occasional times where the GPS will be way off and show I’ve run a mile in 4 minutes, but those instances aren’t too often. Where I am disappointed is in the Apple Watch capabilities. From day 1 when I got my watch in May it has difficulty syncing my activity to my phone. Recently within about the last 2 weeks I notice the app often crashes which results in nothing being recorded. Very frustrating

For somebody trying to narrow down what they’re capable of this app is great. My only complaint is that sometimes it messes up completely and skips entire segments or time segments of a run. I’ve only used it in places with great reception and it has happened to a friend of mine as well who now thinks he can run a 5min mile even though he regularly can’t beat 6min/mile. You can tell on the traced map too because there will be straight lines through buildings and such. If you’re a pro runner you’ve probably already figured this out and bought a real gps anyway.

have been using for well over a year & have had no issues with tracking or stats. put off buying t-shirts so long, that they no longer sell merch. outside of that, nothing but good.

Ive used the free version of this app for every run I've tracked in the last few months. So great to get the update of my speed every half mile. I would recommend this to anyone on the run! -update: I have purchased the full version of this app after deciding to train for my first private 50k for my birthday next year. Love the this app. Been with it for going on 2 years now

  • Crashes on locked screen

The latest version crashes soon after an activity stars. It happened half a dozen times by now, about half the time I tried using the app. There is no way to know that the app crashed, unless you leave your screen on and habitually check your phone.

Runkeeper is great! I’m a big fan of the picture feature, because I can look back at all the places I’ve run. I’ve been using this app for 3 years now and it’s been extremely reliable with measuring distance and location in various areas. Other features that are super helpful: the fact that it has audio notifications of your distance & pace, the fact that you can rate your run by how it felt, and the interval workout feature. :)
  • Used to be the best running app

I used to love this app, its free plan for 2:30 1/2 marathon got my time down from 2:45 to 2:26 . But ever since asics took over its been going downhill. Now its as greedy and expensive as mapmyrun by under armor. The fact you can only get training plans with premium is obnoxious. The free plans are already written and were already available, it wouldn't cost anything to keep them up at least for loyalty of your old customers ( ive been using this app for ~6years). Very disappointed.

Out for a run today, surprise RKPR went to the SAVE/DISCARD screen with no RESUME. Had to save, start a new activity...the clock started, but distance stayed at 0.0. This is on Apple Watch Gen 3 with cellular, iPhone app not used. Would my ASICS shoes stop halfway in a run?
