    I decided almost immediately that this app was not going to work for me so I canceled, on the app, as directed, within 24 hours. The charge was pending and is now posted to my card. This is ridiculous! And, of course, there’s no way to actually talk to a person to clear this up!

  • Misleading and unhelpful

    The app was very misleading about purchase options and overall I did not enjoy the fitness app. As a person who strictly tracks their diet, I found it to be actually inaccurate in many calculations.
  • Carb counts/food records

    I have been using this app for about a week now. I have found that the carbohydrate counts don’t seem to be accurate. For instance, today my tracker is telling me that after 1 tablespoon of butter in my coffee I still have 50 g of carbohydrates available. Even for the keto medium as this is called that is way too high. Also, as I read a package and get the net carbs they don’t match what you have in your records. They always seem higher. Also, every time I have taken a picture of a UPC it just says this is interesting. I would suggest fine-tuning the keto side of your app.

    I love the variety of weight loss plans my one thought though is that for intermittent fasting plans if you could also offer ones like 16:8 where you fast for 16 hours then eat. I am more partial to a plan like that but could use guidance and the ability to track it accordingly on the app. Is there any possibility to add this soon?

    They seemed to have fixed the sync bug with the Health App. I’m pretty happy with how easy it is to log my food once I have all my favorites input. This a great guide to stay on track with your diet and I believe worth the money. I have been trying to put on muscle weight and have gained 15 pounds in the last 6 months with little fat gain.
  • With new update I cannot add any recipes

    Every time I click to add more recipes the app turns off and sends me back to my home screen on my phone. I have liked using this app, though have only had for a short time and would really like to add more recipes so I can properly track my food! Thank you!
  • The only health app I’ve stuck with

    I’ve tried lots of different apps to help me along my fitness journey and this is the only app I have been able and have wanted to stick with. It’s awesome when you track your food and are able to see a rating beside what you’ve had. Also, it’s very easy to track your exercise. As of recently, I have purchased an Apple Watch and it makes it even easier because it just takes the activity information from my watch and coverts it into the app. There is also a cool weight tracker you can use to count towards your weight goals. Tracking water intake is also nice and the app even gives you tips and encouraging words to reach your water, calories per meal, and exercise goals. I thought every app like this was the same and they all seemed so hard to figure out. Lifesum is short, sweet, and simple and I give the creators and developers of this app major props because usually I get bored within this category of apps, but this one has kept me focused and excited to use it. Thank you, Lifesum!
  • Great but inaccurate food tracking

    I really enjoy this app and all of its features. I didn’t mean to buy the premium version, but I’m quite satisfied. I like how it rates your progress based on what you eat, how much water you drink, and how often you exercise. My only complaint is that there are no standard inputs for nonpackaged foods. I tried to track a banana and the calories seemed really low and the servings seemed weird. Then I googled the calories for a banana, and found that what I had was inaccurate. I tried other banana options, but when I tried to input how many grams it was, it didn’t work. It suddenly said that 2 grams was over a thousand calories. I find that this I the case for all non-packaged foods like chicken and vegetables. I’d like to see some standardized options for foods like this. I want to weigh my foods and get accurate calories, but these items in the database don’t seem accurate. Looks like I’ll just have to input them manually. It’s still possible to do that, but it’s an inconvenience when I’m paying for all this other convenience. It makes it tempting to move back to other calorie tracking apps. Otherwise, everything about the app is great.
