  • Pretty good, but too grindy

    By MikeWick
First off, I do like this game. Secondly, PLEASE ADD SPELL CHECK SUPPORT AND VERTICAL KEYBOARD SUPPORT FOR TYPING. This game is a little grindy, especially for special ships. Overall it’s good though.
  • Disappointed

    By Xerex55
Finally gave up on this game. Terrible development and bugs all through the game. Poor customer service with little regard to finding resolutions to problems. They are more concerned about making money than quality of game play even when you do spend. So many reviews stated this but took me longer to realize the trap. Goodbye. Was fun but early on but what a waste of time and money.
  • Free to start Pay 2 Play Glitches and Poor Support

    By Legionnare12345
The game starts great but unless you are willing to spend HUNDREDS of dollars to get going and at least $99.00 a month you will always be food for people that do. Glitches cause the game to restart frequently and the shields that you can deploy around your base to protect your resources occasionally don’t work. Customer service’s response is to affirm the issues, say they are working on them...and then tell you there is nothing more they can do for you. Other than the issues stated above the game is awesome!
  • Preying on nostalgia

Without the Star Trek label this game would probably be abandoned by now. It’s basically space mining for middle aged folks with lots of disposable income. The PVP, if you want to call it that, is basically a 1 card throwdown. My card is more powerful than yours, boom, you’re dead, have a nice day. No skill involved. Then there is the endless hours of mining waiting for someone to blow you up. I hope this is a low point for the industry, it has really turned me off to mobile games. I have turned back to older PC games, it’s so amazing what they built not so many years ago before greed ruined the entire field. Don’t get me wrong. I am not against paying to play. But I also consider “value” and “fairness”. I myself spent about 360 here, more than a whole collection of games on PC or Consoles, any normal MMO that would get me the game plus years of subscription. That’s almost nothing compared to some others I know have spent, I know somebody who spent 10x that and even he was still small fry compare to the whales out there. There is not 360 worth of game here, so no value. The advantages you get set you so far ahead of any non-payor it isn’t funny, so no fairness.
  • Great to start

This game was awesome in the beginning but has quickly reached a level of greed for money that takes the fun out of it. If you pay tons of money for their packs you can get to a point where you won’t be blasted out of space by over matched players. They have gotten to the point where unless you spend hundreds of dollars on purchases you don’t stand a chance in base raids, pvp, or events. The alliances that spend money are being catered to and it is destroying the game for everyone. The Sheer volume of bugs and glitches that they allow to remain in the game is terrible. There is no guarantee that when you put a shield up it will be there when you get back a 24 hour shield my last 24 hours or it might last two depending on if one of their glitches caused it to drop without you actually being in the game doing anything.
  • Decent. Marred by the “free to play” tag.

I have a difficult time understanding why games such as this are marketed as “free to play.” I understand that it costs money to develop the game and it costs money to keep the servers up. Why advertise the game as FTP when the developers are obviously going to be asking for money from at least a subset of the gamers who like the game? It seems to me that just leads to poor reviews from people who refuse to pay anything and are frustrated that they can’t progress as far in the game as those who buy ships or packs. Overall, despite the frustrations I sometimes feel with the glitches in the game (which are slowly getting better), I find the game interesting and engaging, if a little intense on the grind. I’m enjoying it.
  • A fun game with lots of issues,

    By AsYouWish2468
I enjoy the concept of this game and of course the Star Trek theme. I’ve added lots of new goals. however it is difficult to complete them. Just completing the daily goals is a challenge because you often have to mine for certain things. For example you need to mine for 3-star ore. When you do that, you have to go to a specific location.Unfortunately so does everybody else, which makes it very difficult to mine without having to attack another persons ship. Well your ship is there mining for ore you can be attacked by other members. There are a number of alliances that appear to go out of their way to attack people as they’re trying to completely mine test. So then you need to use a peace shield. Which is supposed to prevent them from attacking you while you’re completing your activity. The peace field does not seem to be working/functioning. A major issue with the game, is that it is either timing out or just shutting down. You could be in the middle of any number of activities, and the game just closes. Other times you can be playing in the game just says you’ve lost your connection. I am using an iPad nine which is up-to-date and works well for everything else. I hope to see major improvements in this game.
  • Not worth the time

    By Usedtobehappywgarmin
Started out ok, but got bad in a hurry. The Pay to Win is appalling, it saturates everything you do in the game.
  • Only pay to play wanted here

    By Matt1961
The game has some good bones and could be a lot of fun but honestly it’s only fun if you dump hundreds$$$ into it to keep up. I’ve seen more people leave the game than stick with it because of the poor balance and lack of care from the devs on the effect $$ has on game play. Do yourself a favor and pass on this. It’ll save your wallet and your sanity.
  • Waste of time and money

    By jr1061
Full of bugs-constant crashes that cause loss of in-app purchases. Contacting customer service was like trying to decipher the Dead Sea Scrolls. Once contacted, they were no help whatsoever. Don’t waste your time or money.
