  • Fun but can cost you money

This game can take a bit to level up if you are not buying things in the game. Also would be better if you could choose which animal you want as a pet.
  • Stuck too much

I used to really enjoy this game, I don’t anymore. I’ve been stuck on the same level for a couple of months now (mainly cause I don’t play that much due to frustration). Get tired of only moving up a few levels a month. Plus, the blasters that you receive don’t hardly help. Just over the game as a whole.

Much more fun than any other match 3 game bc you’re collecting stars for specific purposes. However, every couple of days they have mini competitions that you have no choice in doing. I’d prefer a way to opt out of those other than just not playing the game for the duration of it.
  • Fun but not without frustrations

Overall a very fun game, but there’s also quite a few frustrating things. * Lots of different mechanics to help or hinder the clearing of each level, this is what makes the game fun, however there are certain mechanics that are extremely frustrating, they’re not needed to make the game challenging or at least tone them down to not be so frustrating (the game should be enjoyable and not frustrating) * Quite a few levels that rely on pure luck, so you basically keep playing the same level over and over until you get the right piece in the right place. * The planes are extremely stupid, it would be nice if they had better basic algorithms to not miss hitting the correct target (such as after the target moves from other pieces being cleared), and icing on the cake would be some more advanced algorithms so they aim for smarter targets. * The mechanic (or bug as others reviews have mentioned) in which multiple specials go off at the same time doesn’t properly affect surrounding target pieces adds more frustration to the game.

Y’all PLEASE STOP with the BS use of stars! It’s not easy to get them, and I could like the choice mixing a drink, cleaning cat prints, etc. it’s just ridiculous. Stars are hard to come by, and using them on useless things other than house repair is stupid. I use to play, spent money, stopped playing because of the Bs, started playing again few days ago. And probably about to stop! Ugh! So frustrating

It could be enjoyable if they didn’t nickel and dime you to death. They make the games nearly impossible to win without making purchases. You’ll be on the brink of winning when you run out of moves for impossible goals. They make you play games just to answer doors, go to bed, pet the cat....endless nonsense. You have to play the games for days before you can make the next move or else you’ll be spending lots of money. I still on the bottom floor after 5 weeks of play..nothing else to be done there, but I’m on another stupid game just for the character to call someone. STUPID!!

I just have a hard time finishing a level, seems hard, I just get to the last one and think I’m gonna make it and I am out of tries. I don’t mind spending a little money on the game but I would like to have fun and be able to advance this game seems to be a bit harder to accomplish anything to get somewhere,I just started playing so I will give it time. Thanks

The idea of the game is great, but the winning moves is sad. You can’t win in any possible way. I deleted after it got impossible. There are multiple games similar, and allows you to beat it at some point. This game gets ridiculous. Better games that are more fun! Statistically, the levels should be beaten, but the computer is rigged to try and make you buy things!
  • Fun but very long

So I got this game last week and I love it the first star goes to that the game has great power up and they are fun. The second is that I love the animation it is so adorable. The third star is for how I love to decorate so that one is just a bonus because I am a nice guy. But the reason you lost the forth star is because you haft to pay to get the safe and you only get one star for every game and some are 2 and the second ones are crazy hard and I loss all the time and I am on level 19 and I have been trying sense the first day I got the game and I got this on Monday last week and it is Thursday so ya that is why you lost that star and you lost the last because the waiting time to get the hearts back is thirty minutes long so ya those are the reasons for that but ya I hope you consider my report so bye. 😋
  • Lots of fun, yet unfriendly

I like a lot about this game. I like the fact that getting powerful bonus gems is relatively easy. I like its graphics. I like the variety of challenges. I enjoy the narrative. Yet this game obviously does not use a true randomizer for placement of either new gems that drop into the playing area after a play or the placement of those bonus gems. Regardless of whether one buys the bonuses, they are received as rewards, or they occur during gameplay, they are always dropped into the game, with no choice on the part of the player, and in the place least likely to benefit the player. In addition, if one creates a bonus, the new gems that enter, and the behavior of gems around the bonus, make it pretty well, well, difficult, anyway, to make a second bonus adjacent to the first. This is especially true for he rainbow balls. I’d say fewer than 10% of the time is it possible to put another bonus next to a rainbow ball. This minimizes the benefit of the bonuses, making one player in their Facebook discussion say “Are bonuses bad?” These characteristics make this game’s algorithm perhaps the most unfriendly in the gaming world. I suspect that Homescapes has been around long enough that its developers have moved on to other products and no longer care about feedback recommending major changes. And I’m also sure the developer who wrote the directed placement part of the algorithm feels pretty clever about it. But in order for this game to really reach the level of enjoyment it could provide its players, getting rid of that portion of the algorithm and switching to true randomization is absolutely necessary.
