  • On Demand Issues

Every device lags with on demand. It’s beyond annoying and has been like this for months
  • Commercials and sound problems

There are more commercials now and with some recordings I am unable to fast forward through them. Also the sound quality often has echo and is poor. If I can I watch on the provider stations instead. Sorry YouTube TV.
  • App needs some work

The service itself is quite good with the often identified limitations of forced commercials, missing channels, etc. But I expected more from Google’s app developers. I can record an entire series on the DVR but cannot delete individual episodes from my watch list. The app needs a grid view TV guide feature bad. Browsing and finding upcoming programs is darn near impossible. Ironic for a company that made its fortune from search. The home tab tried too hard and misses badly. They should try to mimic a more traditional TV interface. It just makes more sense.
  • iOS app is fine, Apple TV app is garbage

The Apple TV app has no way for me to submit a written review, so here we are: 1. Let me modify audio output from within the app, *just like the default video player view controller lets you do by swiping down from the top of the remote*. See: Netflix, Movies app, and every other good video playback app. 2. Fast forwarding and rewinding is incredibly fussy. Apple’s built in movies app is far better at this. I think you have too many gestures wired up to the remote’s trackpad.
  • Lots of potential: hopefully they'll keep working on it

I’ve been a member since it was first introduced. I tested out all the competing products and decided that for my home and the devices that I own this was the best solution. Since I’ve been a member for prices have increased but they were grandfathered me in so I get the original price. They’ve added a few channels since I first signed up but it seems like since late 2018 into 2019 Google has stopped paying as much attention to the service. I really hope that they take it seriously and make it the best it can possibly be. It’s cloud DVR service Is the best in the business. None of the competitors even come close. And unlike DIRECTV it doesn’t hound you with needless commercials asking you to upgrade.
  • Love but more channels please

I wish YouTube TV would work harder to get more channels. I would love History, A&E, Discovery, TLC, HGTV, Food Network, etc.
  • Good but...

Love the service and the channel selections. Love the dvr features as well. The bad? The app leaves a lot to be desired, mostly because you can’t scroll thru the showtimes or see what’s coming in the hours or days to come.
  • Best streaming service

This is the best streaming service by far. Tops for value and features and setup/functionality. I have used Hulu and Sling. YouTube tv definitely a better product. The channel lineup is good, the service is reliable, the features are good too(and without up charges like the other guys). I have had this service for 4 months now and only regret is not switching sooner. My only issue is FF on dvr is limited to 15 seconds at a time. If you are searching on a long recorded program it can become tedious. A minor drawback and hopefully something google will change in future updates. Overall tremendously pleased.

I cut the cord and I LOVE IT! This product is awesome! THANK YOU YouTube!
  • Almost Perfect

Had this service for almost one year and don’t know why I didn’t switch earlier. Love the unlimited Cloud DVR. Not rated 5 stars because in my area Discovery and History channels are not available. Overall excellent picture quality; some shows from YT Originals are in 4K! Most new network shows in Dolby 5.1
