I originally bought the four pack of cameras to use for monitoring our vacation house. They work well. I then added a fifth camera which worked for a while. Then it won’t connect and refresh the image. When I unplugged it the camera worked again. Now it’s offline again. Can’t reset it because we’re not at the house currently. Frustrating!

I’ve had these cameras for almost a year and they were great at first, I was able to keep a live feed watch over what my dogs were up to when we are out, but since the new update to the app, it skips from page to page while you were trying to view either the live feed or a recorded feed rather it’s on your SD card or the cloud! It is very frustrating!! Makes me want to throw my phone! I have tried everything to fix it including resetting the cameras and removing the app completely and reinstalling on my phone. I am at my wits end! maybe someone has a suggestion on how to fix this problem?

Please help. App needs to be fixed ever since latest update. Live view keeps being interrupted by notifications. This is very dangerous for our baby.

I've been tolerating D-Link cameras for a year or so now but am replacing all of them with YIs. Bought the 4-camera kit & have installed 2 so far. Using local storage only (couldn't see adding yet another subscription to my monthly bills). Cameras are very good quality, even pretty good in low light. App is decent overall especially compared to D-Link one. Only negative in my opinion is that I can't get photos emailed to be without the monthly subscription.
  • Useless app

Bought cameras to use as baby monitors and security cameras. Since alerts automatically load while you are using the app, it is impossible to use as baby monitor. This new glitch is quite frustrating and it seems that this was a huge mistake
  • Great cameras! App not so much.

I love my YI cameras! As long as the app works, I would be happy. Most of the time to view my cameras, I have to go in and out of the app 3 times to view them. Please fix this!
  • Used to be great, not anymore.

This app used to be great, just recently it has been acting horribly. It keeps changing from room to room and all I want it to do just for it to stay on the kids room while they are sleeping. My cameras are point less now. This is just a disappointment.
